During your child’s enrolment at Pohutukawa Kindergarten we record learning and experiences in an individual folder. It will contain photos, learning stories and examples of art, reflecting interests, strengths and developments. Children and family/whanau have access to these at all times and are encouraged to actively participate in their development. The individual portfolios are also an invaluable tool for educarers to set goals and learning outcomes for your child.
When children move on to school they can take their portfolio with them as a great introduction to who they are, and it is a life-long memory of their very special early childhood years.
