Sky Tower Trip
The tamariki had a wonderful time travelling by bus to the Sky Tower this morning. Upon arriving at the tower, the group boarded special glass bottomed and glass sided lifts that zoomed right up to the top of the tower. The tamariki were afforded and amazing view from way up high looking out over the whole of Tamaki Makaurau, its cityscape, skyscrapers, buildings, waters, the Harbour bridge and even Rangitoto Island. After eating morning tea on the viewing deck, the tamariki challenged themselves to walk across the glass panels with a view to the city way below…much excitement was heard!
We will have some pretty tired tower climbers tonight!
