Notice

  • This afternoon the tamariki seemed to be enjoying the new sensory bottles, Ocean said look at he new skittles, and began trying to knock them down with balls. Mia, and Naomi enjoyed watching the glitter and other objects as they shook the bottles and the objects shone in the sun and moved around in the water. Nela tested out what would happen if he rolled the bottles down the ramp.
  • Isobel, Frankie, Natalie and Rose drew maps, and the pirates ran from one place to another. They ran from the big bad wolf as they followed their maps. They followed places to hide and rest. In the end, they found treasure.

It was a fast action role play that moved into many of the areas at kindy and they used what was around then to add to the role play.

Respond

  • We will continue to offer open ended resources for the tamariki to explore.
